Here's some snaps of all the pipe brackets being put in. They'll hold the water pipes firmly to the hull so they don't move around. It'll stop any rattle they might have when they're being used, such as the jolt they'll get when the valves are suddenly opened / closed. It'll save putting stress on the joints.
The three main brackets ready to install. They'll keep the pipes at least 40 mm off the bottom of the hull, about 80 mm apart from each other and nice and straight from end to end.

I used a string-line through the middle of the sub so I could get the brackets lined up perfectly. The magnets and block of wood helped keep it in place and upright whilst I tack welded it. All the magnets had to be removed before I completely welded it because the magnetic fields tended to bend the arc and make nasty holes in the steel.

Lying down in the sub and welding got pretty darn hot so I added a fan to the equation.
